Crossroads logoCrossRoads is an outreach ministry of New Hope Church. We believe the Lord loves and values children. He views them as special gifts and desires that we give them special attention. It is our goal to help children know Jesus as Friend, Savior and Lord.

The CrossRoads program is licensed for children 33 months of age through five years of age. The three-year-olds’ sessions are open to those children who will be 33 months of age by September 1. Children must be four by September 1 to be eligible for the four-year-olds’ sessions.

The purpose of CrossRoads Pre-K is to provide an enriching experience in a Christian environment, aiding children in emotional, intellectual, physical, social, and spiritual growth.

At CrossRoads Pre-K, we incorporate the Cognitive Orientated Curriculum developed by the HighScope Foundation. Our daily schedule is constructed to accomplish three major goals:

  1. Provide children with a "plan-do-review" process to help them: explore, design, and carry out play activities, and make decisions.
  2. Provide for many types of interaction: small and large group, adult-to-child, child-to-child, and adult-teamwork settings, as well as child-initiated or adult-initiated activities.
  3. Provide children with enough time to work in a variety of environments, including indoors, outdoors, on field trips, and in various work settings.
