Looking back on childhood, most of us can think of things we are grateful we learned. On the other hand, many of us also wish we would have taken the time and energy to do things like learn another language, practice piano or improve our athletic skills. We lament, realizing it would have been easier to learn these things as children.

Don't you wish someone had introduced the wonderful habit of fostering a deep and intimate prayer life to you in an inspiringly attractive way? Best of all, what if that habit would have continued to work its way into your life as an adult? What a special gift to extend to a child!

The EPIC Kids Prayer Ministry is excited to assist you in discipling your children in this area. We want to show them how to set a time and a place to pray every day. This teaching is offered in a way that goes beyond the emptiness of mere discipline and actually expands a child's relationship with Christ. Our desire is to reflect how God is available to us at any given moment.

The team members learn together by:

  • praying as a group
  • journaling prayers
  • praying Scripture
  • discovering more about hearing God's voice

While prayer is a big commitment for our team members, it provides incredible opportunities to see God work in powerful ways. We've seen God provide healing, blessings, teaching and more. In addition to praying for one another and the Sunday Worship Celebrations, we also enjoy praying for our Children's Ministries staff and community events.
