"Restarting" provides an opportunity for recovery and healthy relationship patterns for those experiencing trauma or unhealthy attachments to behaviors, events, experiences, people or substances. Many of us are stuck in the pain of trauma, abuse or addiction. We want to be free, but can’t seem to make it past our past! Restarting is all about resolving inner problems while being part of a joyful Christian community where we will gain the skills, patterns and abilities to increasingly develop deeper intimacy with God and others.

God offers us new life in him. He calls us to continually be made more and more alive, flowing in the easy rhythm of the Holy Spirit and empowered to fulfill the unique purposes for which he has created us. Restarting is an opportunity for those suffering from painful experiences to identify root causes and apply Christ-centered solutions to these roots. This helps avoid relapse and the tendency to switch to other negative behaviors and/or addictions for relief. It’s a great opportunity to awaken new possibilities God has for us and make a real change in life!

What is Restarting like?
Restarting is the first module of the “Thriving: Recover Your Life” series. It is a 12-week video seminar format with corresponding workbook. The series identifies major symptoms, causes and cures for emotional pain that people experience due to trauma or addiction. Practical exercises build skills that help individuals learn to regulate emotions, pain and pleasure effectively.

Restarting takes place in a group setting. This environment is crucial to the healing and recovery process since God designed us to be in relationship with Him and others! We often experience pain through relationships and so it is no surprise that we can also find healing in relationships. Cost is $25 for the Restarting workbook.
