Saturday, September 19 Doors open & continental breakfast sponsored by
Ladies...Have you ever gone to chocolate, chips or another "comfort" food after a long day, conflict or grief situation or relationship issue? Or, do you tend to control food when everything else in life feels out of control? You are not alone. Studies show that four out of five women have disordered eating ranging from unhealthy eating habits and coping to clincial eating disorders. Although food is not a topic often discussed in churches, we think it is a significant area that can not be overlooked any longer. This is a workshop for all women who want to gain perpective and skills to having a healthy relationship with food that honors Jesus. Save the date for this relevant workshop to help women explore their relationship with food. Guest teacher Lee Blum, who works as a health educator at Park Nicollet's Melrose Institute, will share her journey and give practical helps for eating to live instead of living to eat. Click here to register now. Cost is $10 per person payable at the door. Continental breakfast is included. Email Donna Hoshor or call 763-971-5118 with questions.
