Don't miss out on the 2009 all-church picnic! Everyone's invited to a summer afternoon of fun at Baker Park Reserve. Bring your own picnic or purchase
a meal (hot dog or brat, cole slaw, baked beans, corn-on-the-cob and watermelon)
for just $4. Enjoy a complimentary beverage. Meal tickets are available this morning in the Worship Center lobby and onsite at Baker Park Reserve while food supplies last.
You're part of the family! Come take part in games and entertainment from 3:00
to 4:50 p.m. Stay for the lakeside baptism beginning at 5:00 p.m. The picnic and baptism are always highlights at New Hope Church.
Activities
Enjoy games and other activities for the entire family! Come for water balloon volleyball, a great swimming beach, a watermelon seed spitting contest, gunny sack races, an 11,000 square-foot children's playground, a fishing pier, hiking trails and more. • Picnic at Driftwood (bring a picnic meal or purchase a meal ticket).
Meal: hot dog or brat, beans, coleslaw, corn-on-the-cob and watermelon.

Popcorn, snow cones and beverages are complimentary.

Baker Park Reserve • 2301 County Road 19 • Maple Plain
The reserve touches parts of Orono, Independence, Medina and Maple Plain. It is about 16 miles from New Hope Church (20 miles west of downtown Minneapolis on County Road 19). From Highway 12, take County Road 29 north to County Road 19, and follow Country Road 19 north to the main park entrance. From Highway 55, turn south on County Road 19, and follow County Road 19 to the main entrance. Download map>>
New Hope Church has reserved the picnic areas north of the boat launch (including Aspen, Butternut, Cottonwood and Driftwood). Look for the NHC information booth to get on-site details. You may wish to bring a blanket and/or lawn chair.
