Road Construction

The City of New Hope is currently
doing road reconstruction on Gettysburg Avenue. We are grateful
for this badly needed improvement that will enhance access to the
church as well as community appearance.
Make note that this process will
present considerable challenges throughout the summer as the City
undertakes these projects:
• Complete
reconstruction of Gettysburg Avenue.
• Water main replacement.
• Sanitary sewer replacement.
• Storm sewer replacement.
The work that will take place directly
in front of the church is to begin Monday, June 16 and run through
the middle of August.
We have been told that there will
be access to the property at all times.
Roadwork always means considerable
inconvenience to achieve the necessary, long-term improvement all
of us want. So let's use it as an opportunity to smile, demonstrate
grace and patience, be thankful and remain faithful.
Be sure to leave yourself a little
extra time as you head to church and be prepared for possible detours
at times. We will post additional updates to this construction
project as we receive them.
