Rock the River Course

New Hope Church is serving as a host church for the Christian Life & Witness
Course from April 30-May 2. NHC attenders are encouraged to participate in the course and serve at RTR. This will be a great opportunity to serve teenagers and share Christ with our community as a church family.

Thursday, April 30 and Friday, May 1: 7:00-9:00 p.m.
Saturday, May 2: 9:00-12:00 p.m.
Attendance at all three sessions is necessary.

Course Purpose
revitalize the believer’s relationship with Christ.
• equip believers to effectively share their relationship with Christ
• equip believers for effective evangelism and discipleship

Course Attenders
All believers who seek to grow in their Christian faith.
• All believers who desire to share Christ with the world around them
• Those planning to counselor at the Rock the River Festival on August 16

Course Schedule

  • Thursday, April 30,  7:00-9:00 p.m.
    • The Effective Christian Life – explores biblical principles for living a life that pleases God, the preeminence of the Bible and reliance on God’s power for effective service.

    • The Victorious Christian Life – examines the reality of our daily walk with God and presents God’s provisions for it. The result is an abundant life walking with him, victorious over both temptation and adversity.

  • Friday, May 1,  7:00-9:00 p.m.
    • The Christian Witness – shows how our lives, yielded to God, can be a powerful witness to others. Practical tips for an effective witness are presented.

  • Saturday, May 2, 9:00 a.m.– 12:00 p.m.
    • Follow-Up and Care of New Christians – Presents the concept of friendship evangelism and shares practical ways we can follow up with those we lead to Christ.
