Why We Believe the Bible
Why do we believe what the Bible says? What sets it apart from any other
holy book? Is it enough just to say, "Well, this is the book they
gave me when I got baptized, so this is one I read?" We don't think
so. If we are going to stake our lives on this book, then we should be
making sure that our confidence in its trustworthiness is rock solid. To
that end, for the next five weeks we will be putting the Bible on trial
and asking it to show us why it should be believed, in hopes that the Bible
wouldn't just be the book we "happen to read" because we're Christians,
but that we would come to view it as the only reliable guide to life, joy
and human flourishing.

God & Government: Seminars on Christian
Political Engagement"
This series delves into two topics of enormous importance to disciples
of Christ. In the seven weeks leading up to the November 4 election, our
topic is "God & Government." We will try to understand what
it looks like for a Christian to engage, intelligently and biblically,
in politics and government. In the second seven weeks of the fall, we will
explore "Why
We Believe the Bible," in an attempt to put reason behind our faith
that the Bible is the very Word of God.

Cross in a way that combines teaching and discussion; prayer and Bible study;

Paul's Letter to the Ephesians
The inaugural Keystone seminar was on Ephesians. We engaged in detailed
study of the meaning of the text and then took time to consider application
and doctrine, and to pray through the text itself.
