Equipped for Service:
God has gifted me as a servant-leader to facilitate effective ministry
in and through others. Most importantly, I have the call of God on my life
for this role. He has provided me with the passion, spiritual/natural giftedness,
personality and a propensity for hard work which are all essential in the
role I play. I see this position not just as a job, but a ministry for
which I am accountable to the Lord.
Prepared for Service:
The experience God has allotted me in the past has prepared me well for
this Role, including
- 7 Years as Director of Christian Education at the Montvale
Evangelical Free Church in Montvale, NJ.
- 10 Years as Pastor of Christian
Education at the First Evangelical Free Church in Tucson, AZ.
- 5 Years
as the National Director of Education & Training with
The Evangelical Free Church of America.
Appreciation for NHC:
The PEOPLE, the STAFF and the MISSION of mobilizing for ministry, genuine
concern for those outside of Christ, maturing God's family, compassion
for the needy, connected to our changing times, committed to all people,
involved in the city and extended to the world
Free Time: I love nature and being outdoors. My wife Ruth and I love to spend time
together enjoying the woods and steams along the St. Croix River. I also
love to fish, hunt, work with wild flowers, and do landscaping and forest
gardening.
