Family: Wife, Donna; and son, Rob. Education: Bachelor's degree in Theological Studies from Los Angeles Baptist College; bachelor's degree in Youth Ministry from Los Angeles Baptist College; master's of Ministry Leadership from Crown College; Police Chaplain Academy graduate from Modesto; and Pastoral Care Academy – LINK Care. Prayer Resolution training. Equipped for Service: I have learned that God equips through the journey he leads you on. From calling me into children's work at an early age, serving as a volunteer in a small church, catching a passion for ministry in college, to every church I have served, God has used each part of the journey to shape me for the ministry I have today.
Appreciation for NHC: The freedom to try new things and not worry about failure. Taking risk is what we have to do if we want to impact our world. Living in a grace-filled environment founded upon God’s Word. Free Time: I enjoy being with my family. I like hiking, swimming, reading, recumbent biking, animals, theatre, paint ball with Rob and ghost towning (trying to find places of the past which have been forgotten). Scripture: At a young age my youth leader had me memorize Proverbs 3:5, 6. This has truly been my guide in life and has helped me through some dark places while knowing God would direct my path. Prepared
for Service: At age 10 I went to a special camp that taught
people how to work with children. At that young age I knew that I was
called to work with children and families. This calling has shaped my
view of children and ministry. I believe that we can challenge children
with the deeper things of God and they will respond. Children are capable
of making life-changing decisions! There was a volunteer youth leader,
Leonard Taylor, who impacted my life for ministry. He taught me
basics of ministry that I still use today.
