Karin is pronounced "Car-In" not "Care-in," staying true to my Swedish heritage! I am a part of the support staff here at NHC, both in the worship music department and in communications.
I love my jobs! You know when people ask, "What is the one thing you would do even if you didn't get paid to do it?" My answer is worshiping and photography. I get to do both here!
I am married to Marshall Heitzman who I met in our church choir. We have three children who adore being a part of this church family.
Galatians 6:4-5 says: "Make a careful exploration of who you are and the work you have been given, and then sink yourself into that. Don't be impressed with yourself. Don't compare yourself with others. Each of you must take responsibility for doing the creative best you can with your own life" (The Message). I am blessed to serve the Lord, and you, by being a part of the NHC staff.
