Serving the City Construction Team logoThe Serving the City Construction Team ministry began in the fall of 2006. The first project took place at Robbinsdale Women’s Center (RWC) where God blessed the women’s center, the surrounding neighborhood and the construction team in numerous ways. “Seeing God's people working together in this way was an inspiration,” said Peggy Benicke, Director of RWC.

Our Mission
The “Serving the City Construction Team” assists urban ministries in area communities by providing labor for short-term construction and maintenance projects. Construction materials for the projects are generally provided by the ministry served. 

Our Purpose
The purpose of these projects is to strengthen the effectiveness of God’s work in our communities while building cross-cultural relationships and encouraging the local Church. We desire to free up time, energy and resources for those involved in ministry so they can actually focus on ministry. “Serving the City Construction Team” works so others can minister.
