There are two areas at New Hope where instrumentalists can use their musical gifts for the glory of God and the good of the church body.

Praise Orchestra

The NHC Orchestra is open to musicians who take Psalm 150 seriously! Trumpets, harp, tambourine, strings, flutes, cymbals–along with clarinets, saxophones, french horns, trombones - they are all used to “praise God in His sanctuary.” The Praise Orchestra rehearses twice a month and ministers in the 8:00 a.m. Heritage Service twice each month and occasionally in the later services.

The Praise Band

The Praise Band ministers each week in the 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. Worship Celebrations. It is composed of advanced musicians who can play contemporary styles with excellence and passion. Drums, electric or acoustic guitars, bass guitar, synthesizer and piano form the core of the Praise Band.
