Sometimes life is overwhelming and it's challenging to find
enough hours in the week to enter deeply into new relationships and commitments.
If that’s the case for you, simply come and worship with the fusion community on Saturday nights. There are no strings attached.
That being said, immersing yourself in relationship and community
is a vital and essential means of discipleship and maturity in the faith.
Therefore, we want to invite you, as you’re
able, to go deeper by investing in community in some of the following ways.
community through small groups
Small groups are committed gatherings of 8-12 friends who are interested
in "doing life" together and encouraging each other toward
mature discipleship. Typically these groups meet at an
individual's home between two and four times a month to
eat dinner or dessert, study a book together, worship and pray for one
another. Most
groups also make it a point to serve in the local community in tangible
ways at least once a month. Outside of our
worship gatherings, small groups are the most important expressions
of community in fusion. To invest in a small group, contact Pastor
Paul.
community through intentional discipleship
There are a variety of ways to grow in your faith and be wrapped into
the broader body of New Hope Church through Men’s and Women’s
Ministries. From theological seminars to book studies, from Alpha to
the EXPONENTIAL2:2 men’s discipleship program, there is
something for you at any point in your walk. For men's opportunities, contact
Pastor Bryan. For
women's opportunities, contact Andrea
Tyson.
community through service
As needs and opportunities arise, we love acting as the “hands and
feet of Jesus” in our neighborhoods. Whether it means serving with "Feed
My Starving Children," "Urban
Homeworks," "HopeBridge"
or simply bringing someone in need a meal, raking their yard or helping
them move, service is a vital aspect of living in the Way
of Jesus. Opportunities
to serve can be found in the bulletin at Sunday evening worship, on the fusion
calendar or through NHC serving opportunities.
